When I realized that my ASOA presidency would be the year of 2020, I was thrilled! Who wouldn’t be excited to address the ASOA at the opening of the annual meeting, the year of perfect vision! As they say, hindsight is also 20/20. Never would I have guessed that the annual meeting that I have regularly attended over the past 30 years would have been canceled due to a pandemic.
