I’d been intrigued about COE certification since attending my first ASOA meeting in Boston in 2008 after seven years in the field as a patient and financial coordinator. It wasn’t until 2015, however, when I became a practice administrator after the administrator who was training me to take over when she retired passed away, that I was able to pursue this goal.
