It was January 4, 2021, and I had just sat down to write my annual year-end summary for the Board. As I reflected on the year, I realized that most of my time had been spent on crisis management and very little on strategic planning. One of the initiatives I had hoped to accomplish in 2020 was to work with our clinical services manager to increase our tech efficiency. Feeling a bit glum that I had not achieved my goal, I set out to make 2021 the year to succeed.
