The ASCRS Foundation’s domestic charitable cataract surgery program, Operation Sight, serves uninsured and underinsured patients in financial need. The program is powered by a nationwide network of volunteer surgeons, including ASCRS members and organizations, who have an established community presence for cataract care within underserved patient populations. Beyond the support of volunteer surgeons, the ASCRS Foundation has a pivotal partnership with ASOA. ASOA volunteerism establishes the Operation Sight presence on a practice level, ensuring patients are receiving the cataract care they deserve.
