If there’s a silver lining to the past two years (and don’t we all need one?), it might be that Americans are more open to discussing mental health. Having all lived through an intense experience—pandemic, protests, pervasive civil unrest—we have a lot to talk about. As ophthalmology practices look to the future, administrators are learning from this pandemic experience, especially as it relates to mental health and resilience.
