Four years ago, I interviewed for my dream job. I was a COT1, FCLSA2, and OSC3 with diverse ophthalmic training and 40 years of experience. I was fortunate to have been mentored by many gifted and well-known physicians, technicians, photographers, and contact lens fellows throughout my career; I valued their training and mentorship. As I faced the future, I longed to give back to this career field in a significant way.
