As I approach this topic, I cannot help but contemplate if it is premature to be discussing lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic. We tend to process lessons learned once the experience is in the rearview mirror. In the case of COVID-19, it is not unreasonable to question if that day will ever come. Amid news of multiple mutant strains emerging, vaccines pulling out of the market, and ineffective vaccine distribution and administration around the country, one can hardly presume the end is in sight.
