In today’s medical landscape, practices are constantly being pulled in different directions, with one major challenge being patient access for treatment. Practices are bombarded by continued changes in treatment and new medications, and by staffing challenges including turnover and lack of training. The cost of meeting healthcare needs and purchasing required equipment go up while reimbursement continually goes down and patients’ financial situations become unstable. All these factors essentially impact the ability to care for our patients effectively.
