Every industry has Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to determine how the business is doing compared to its peers. Many KPIs provide information about the health of the revenue cycle, and if you are within the benchmark, usually everything is OK. If you are an outlier, it is necessary to understand why. Outlier does not automatically mean “bad,” but don’t ignore the information either.
