Currently in the United States, up to 50.2 million people suffer from signs and symptoms of dry eye disease (DED). This is not a group of patients to shy away from. They are of all ages, and many are in the contact lens, refractive surgery, and the premium cataract market. They have spending power and are not afraid to spend money for comfort and vision.
