The ubiquitous appearance of personality testing in our culture—from dating sites to online games—includes the use of personality profiles in our practices. As a student of organizational behavior and culture, I can appreciate when such profiles are used well. But improper use of personality assessments can be detrimental to organizations and the individuals within them.
