Advice I would have given myself when I started my career: If I had an opportunity to go back and give myself a pep talk, I would say “don’t wait to get involved, don’t hold back, there is so much more outside of our own bubble (or in this case, practice). We all grow in our professional and personal lives when we actively participate and share. Don’t just be a spectator during the building years of your career, find what energizes you and be a true contributor.”
