Raleigh Ophthalmology (RO) has found interesting solutions to patient care during the global coronavirus pandemic. Here, clinical manager Holly Fields, COA, shares how the team took to heart the adage “necessity is the mother of invention” (see “Leadership Log,” p. 18). While the pandemic will end at some point, Fields foresees drive-up IOP clinics as a potential mainstay. The concept allows moderate to severe glaucoma patients to be seen efficiently and reduces office traffic.
