For more than ten years, our practice retained an agency to handle our marketing efforts. We were finding that their efforts went largely unnoticed by the public. Why? Because there was no real focus or vision. We were listening to an agency tell us what they wanted to do, and we let them do it! They didn’t have any knowledge of ophthalmology, and they were publishing very generic advertising. We weren’t being leaders. In a sea of marketing and advertising in a small state, we were just another fish floundering around.
