Are you having trouble with recruiting since COVID-19? If you are, you are not alone! Many of us in the healthcare industry are struggling to recruit and retain good workers. In my organization we had to get very creative to create a pipeline for the ophthalmology department. Our solution was to work one on one with a community college in the area to incorporate ophthalmic training and externships into their current curriculum for medical assistants.
