Like many other people who have written for “COE Corner,” it took me too long to finally pull the trigger on taking the exam. It was something on the back of my mind for a couple of years, but I kept putting it off because I was either too busy or too exhausted. Then the realization hit me that if I don’t make it a priority, it will never happen, and I will continue to run into the same struggles I had been dealing with for a while now: credibility and being taken seriously.
