Throughout my career, I have constantly worked on learning and growing my knowledge and skill set for all aspects of my role. That striving allowed me to advance from my first position in July 2013 as an ophthalmic technician at Austin Retina Associates, to scribing six months later and then working as lead scribe for one of our busiest physicians, to clinical supervisor in 2018. So when I first learned of the COE certification in early 2021 I instantly knew I wanted to pursue this certification, too!
