In June of 2005 I was sitting at a Cubs/Brewers game with my dad. We enjoyed some of Wisconsin’s finest beer and feasted our eyes on the sausage race. If you haven’t experienced this, it’s where six adult-sized sausage mascots race around the bases before the bottom of the sixth inning. My dad turned to me and in his wonderful soft tone, asked me the question all children dread. “What is your plan for your life?”
