CMS Seeking Volunteers for ICD-10 End to End Testing in January

During the week of January 26-30, 2015, a sample group of providers will participate in ICD-10 end-to-end testing with Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) and the Common Electronic Data Interchange (CEDI) contractor.

To participate as a volunteer tester, providers must submit a volunteer form by October 3, 2014. The goal of end-to-end testing is to demonstrate that providers and submitters are able to successfully submit claims containing ICD-10 codes to the Medicare fee for service claims system and that accurate remittance advices are provided by the system.

Approximately 850 volunteers will be selected to participate in the January testing. The volunteer form can be found on your MAC website and providers must submit completed forms by October 3, 2014 to be considered. The volunteers selected to participate will be notified by October 24, 2014.
