ASOA on Tour - Regional Meeting Program

ASOA is pleased to announce its
ASOA on Tour – Delivering Practice Management Essentials to You
regional meeting program.

This program is intended to provide practice managers with convenient, alternative opportunities for face-to-face education, while still providing the quality level of programming ASOA members have come to expect. The meeting format will be 4:30 – 6:30 pm on Friday evenings and 8:00 am – 4:00 pm on Saturdays, with most presentations lasting 60 minutes.  An optional ICD-10 Workshop, conducted by the Corcoran Consulting Group, will be offered on Friday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. The registration websites for these meetings will open shortly.

The locations and time frames for the 2015 regional meetings are:

• August 21-22 – Austin, TX (in conjunction with ASCRS and ASORN)

• September 2015– Philadelphia, PA (date TBD)

• November 2015 – Orlando, FL (date TBD)

Each meeting will include specific core topic areas, such as legislative and regulatory updates, as well as the optional ICD-10 workshop on Friday. To ensure a wide variety of program topics, we are using a “Call for Submissions” process for other portions of the programming. Anyone wishing to submit can do so for any, or all, of the four meetings, as each meeting will have a different deadline date for submissions.

Program Topics:

• Business Operations
• Customer Service & Patient Engagement
• Human Resources
• Marketing
• Ophthalmic Basics
• Risk Management & Compliance
• Miscellaneous

All submissions will be reviewed by the ASOA Regional Meetings Task Force for clarity, relevance, and applicability. This is an excellent opportunity for you to share your expertise with your colleagues in an informal and relaxed setting!

All ASOA members are invited to submit and may do so here. The deadline for submissions for the September meeting in Philadelphia is Saturday, June 20th.

We are very excited to launch this new initiative and look forward to hearing from you. Please do not hesitate to contact the ASOA office if you have any questions.
