ASOA NBCOE Call for Nominations

The National Board for the Certification of Ophthalmic Executives (NBCOE) is currently seeking nominations for a maximum of 3 At-Large Member seats for the term April 2015 - April 2018. At-Large NBCOE members must be currently credentialed COEs.

The mission of the NBCOE is to advance the field of ophthalmic administration by developing and maintaining criteria and procedures for conducting a valid and reliable national certification examination. The NBCOE is responsible for setting policy, developing procedures and suggesting guidelines for the Certified Ophthalmic Executive (COE) certification program in accordance with the NBCOE Bylaws. The NBCOE meets quarterly via conference call and once in person at the ASOA Annual Meeting. Please visit the ASOA website for additional information on the NBCOE.

As a COE, you understand what earning the designation entails, as well as the significance of holding it. Please consider submitting a nomination for yourself, or one of your COE colleagues, by completing the Call for Nominations Form and returning it no later than December 15th.

By running for the NBCOE seat, you have the opportunity to elevate awareness of the COE designation and promote the COE as the national standard for ophthalmic practice management. Your participation is a message to "Get Certified"!
