2017 MIPS Feedback Reports Separate Scores for 2019 Payment Adjustment and Exceptional Performance Bonus; File Targeted Reviews with CMS by September 30

Recently, CMS officials announced that after receiving feedback on the MIPS adjustment score, they have decided to separate the scores, so MIPS participants can view both their payment adjustment score and exceptional performance adjustment score separately. As a reminder, MIPS participants who scored at least 70 points qualified for the exceptional performance bonus.

To view your 2019 payment adjustments, you must log into the Quality Payment Program (QPP) site to access the 2017 MIPS feedback reports. CMS will not distribute the reports through email or U.S. mail. Log into your portal on the QPP site using your Enterprise Identity Management (EIDM) credentials.

If you think that your final MIPS score is incorrect, such as from missing hardship exemptions or missing or inaccurately calculated data, you may file a targeted review with CMS from your QPP portal by September 30, 2018.

If you are having difficulty accessing your QPP portal, contact CMS at 866-288-8292. If you have additional questions, please contact Allison Madson, manager of regulatory affairs, at amadson@ascrs.org or 703-591-2220.
