Committees and Task Forces

Volunteers are the lifeblood of an association.  We encourage you to get involved! ASOA has two levels of involvement: Committees and Task Forces.  Committees require a one-year commitment; Task Forces are shorter-termed project-related commitments which range from 1-6 months.  For more information, contact karen@asoa.org.

Committees

Member Engagement
Mission: The Member Engagement Committee is responsible for supporting efforts to expand membership, increase attendance and enroll members in operational efforts.

Physicians Relations 
Mission: The Physician Relations Committee is responsible for guiding efforts to secure physicians’ support for administrative participation by clarifying the value of ASOA to their practices.

Policies and Procedures
Mission: The Policies and Procedures Committee serves as a support resource to the ASOA Board of Directors for interpretation and maintenance of the ASOA bylaws, policies and procedures.

Program
Mission: The Program Committee is responsible for supporting efforts to continuously strengthen the annual meeting (and OGS) and other educational offerings.
