Mark has been serving as the Administrator for West Georgia Eye Care Center in Columbus, GA since 1999. West Georgia Eye Care Center is a multi-specialty practice incorporating cataract, glaucoma, cornea, occuloplastics, refractive, low vision, and comprehensive ophthalmic and optometric services. The practice currently has 7 physicians and 1 optometrist and is adding retina and additional optometric services. Mark has over 26 years of medical management experience with the U.S. Army, the University of Georgia Health Services and with private group medical practices. Mark's responsibilities include practice management oversight, along with strategic planning, compliance, risk management, fiscal management, marketing, and real estate management and development.
